Bar T Kennels

I sent my new puppy to Bar T Kennels and feel they were worth every penny. I think I was most impressed with how committed they were to getting the training right no matter how long it took. I paid for the four week program and they kept him for 5 and a half weeks because they did not want to send him home until he was truly trained. When he came home he was great but started struggling in his crate. After trying their suggestions, big dog academy took him back for two more weeks of crate and potty training. He is back now and doing much better. When they say they guarantee their work, they mean it. Could not be happier and totally trust these guys to do what it takes to get your dog trained.

We are beyond grateful for Wayne and Bar T Kennels! Our American Bulldog pup was getting us evicted from our rental and we were desperate looking for solutions. Our pup was mischievous, loud and sometimes aggressive. After the training provided by Wayne our pup came back with a whole new behavior and it was such a relief to us. We will forever be grateful for the dedication and hard work Wayne and his team put into Akua’s training for him to become the great dog he is today. Thank you Bar T Kennels!

I have sent my GSD mix dog to Bar T Kennels 4x now. Each about a week long. Wayne (the owner) is so knowledgeable and friendly and I can tell how much he cares about my Calvin. Wayne is awesome with his communication and is willing to answer any questions or concerns I have about training even when Cal is just being boarded. I feel so lucky to have found a place that loves my dog as much as I do.

We have worked with Wayne and Bar T Kennels for a few years and we admire his dedication to the dogs!! We are always here to help out with bathing or grooming for his Davis County dogs whenever we can!! He loves all the dogs that visit Big dog Academy!

Had these guys take and train our super energetic german shorthaired pointer. Happy with the results when we got him back. Now our work begins keeping up with the training. Wayne Ogden with Bar T Kennels, is knowledgeable and easy to talk with.

I can’t say enough good about Bar T Kennels and Wayne and the other trainers! My teenage daughter was in need of a service dog for a newly diagnosed medical problem. After researching so many training facilities and in-home trainers, we choose Bar T. I am so glad we did!

Wayne and his team are magic. They provided our pup with emotional support training, which definitely shows. Our biggest concern going into this (apart, of course, from the natural worry of overall safety), was if the training would take away her sweetness. Those fears were not realized — she is still just as sweet and eager to be friends with every person she meets, but now with an increased abilty to follow directions and respect boundaries. All that and tremendously affordable to boot.
